The campaign creative is based on the heritage and ethos of West Ham during its inception as a football club 125 years ago.
The identity links the Iron Works history with a bold graphic language that is inspired by the sparks from hammering metal. The ‘Hammer Sparks’ feature key moments that have been forged into the clubs history.
West Ham have had high points in its past, however they are by no means a glitzy club, with any success coming through hard work and a true underdog spirit. This gritty determination is shown using layers of texture in contrast with the black and gold colour palette.
